Blog Probes Real Estate Models

Posted by CityBlogCO on March 30th, 2008

www.REALonomics.net is a blog that is asking serious questions about where the real estate industry is going. More specifically, REALonomics poses challenges to the broker/owners to adopt models that will allow their organizations to become more transparent.

REALonomics.net advocates that the industry open up the property information portals to consumers and upgrade its approach to how it is interacting with the consumer by implementing more social networking such as www.CityBlogUSA.com, a community blogging network for every city in the USA.

Posted by CityBlogCO on August 9th, 2007

uncle_sam_blogCityBlogUSA in cooperation with Home Real Estate of Centennial, Colorado has opened the Denver market to resident blogging. Home Real Estate launched the largest community-based blogging network in Colorado…and, it’s open to everyone.

All of the blogging for residents is FREE when they become Authors or Commentators. Real estate brokers and businesses can participate by advertising themselves. Agents can sign up to sponsor their favorite city, home town or market area. Brokers who Author can upload properties, create links and give information about local neighborhoods, making it more powerful. become a Denver Author and post information about life in Denver, real estate values, jobs, health care, schools and any other Park Bench topic.

The Colorado CityBlog Network also contains a PhotoBlog component. Residents can upload their favorite images for other to preview…homes, buildings, humorous photos, people, landmarks, etc. All photos are screened.

Behind CityBlogUSA and the Colorado Blog Network is the idea of creating local conversations with residents so that people who are contemplating relocation to any Colorado City can “Ask the people who live there.”

The Diamond on the Hill: Bonnie Brae

Posted by cohomefinder on June 26th, 2007

It is often said that, “everything old is new again.” As for Denver real estate, this statement is being shouted from the Art Moderne and English Tudor rooftops of Bonnie Brae properties. With a lower median home price than its neighbors in 80209 and 80210, Bonnie Brae is a diamond, not in the rough, but on the top of the hill.

Lauded for its charming village feel, the central ellipse of the area and varied architecture reflect Bonnie Brae’s established historic roots. While close proximity to fine dining and recreation harkens back to its roaring 20’s attitude, the short walk or drive to these areas provide the fun without a long commute.

A quick step out the door of a 1940’s Ranch-style will have you at a coffee shop or sushi bar, with plenty to talk about regarding the new brick builds on Clayton Street, or the classic Tudors on Josephine Street.

Excellent ratings for Cory elementary school add to the areas family appeal, while new and remodeled Bonnie Brae condos are in high demand for young professionals.

Convenient access to Colorado Boulevard takes the guesswork out of reaching nearby Denver neighborhoods. Even, with easy access to I-25 and the rest of Downtown at your finger tips, the only question that may remain regarding Bonnie Brae is “why would you want to leave?”
